+1.
Let him deal with "due process." The rest of us have to live by laws and rules.

Being in the southern ocean with that moron for a skipper is definitely risking your life without even leaving the ship. That's not the GOM. And that boat isn't ice rated but he still takes it through ice fields. So yes, they are absolutely risking their lives. They think they're only doing it once they get in the inflatable but that ain't the half of it.
Fact is, he takes idealistic naive idiots and uses them callously to stroke his own ego. How they haven't lost a ton of them yet is pure luck.

Good, and I hope the japs eat as much tuna as they fricking want till the world realizes the need for oceanic fishfarms.
And I hope those Viking ancestors club the shite out of those whales, I'm not really all about.. but I'm all about heritage/tradition

frick that tool. his tactics are laughable. he is a fat arse disgrace.
what the japanese whaling crew needs to do is get a group of coonasses hired to go out there and defend against those eco terrorists. that would make for a good show.

I watch this show just so I can pull for the japs
I'm not necessarily for whaling (I don't know what they are doing it for) but I am DEFINITELY against the sea shepards
I wish the whale crews would get a nice destroyer escort one season.

Yeah fricking shark finners are awesome man, right up there with the Japenese long liners who wiped out millions on tons of fish right off you dumbasses back door in the 80's, gill netters are fricking great too, or the redfish purse seining pogy boats.
Guy is a arse often but at least is trying to fricking do something, although he is a complete tool.
When he puts a fricking whaler in the bottom of the sea he will have my respect. Should have bought a damn old u boat instead that bullshite.

In sum, cut his griup some slack. They are helping everyone who fishes the northern gulf right now by flying weekly survelliance flights over well sites at their own exipense. Most of the aerial photos you see are from their members.
Or you can just trust the coast guard, cuz no way they would lie for BP. (LOL)

Pilot whales have been suffering the grind every year for what? Thousands of years or something? And they aren't even remotely close to endangered.
So what makes it wrong to kill them and eat them just like everything else? Because they're whales? So what?

This might seem like BS, but I actually did the following hoping for a pissed off response. I'm still waiting
During Season 1, when they were still advertising for crew members, I sent the Sea Shepherd an email as an interested big game hunter and sport fisherman, looking for an outfitter to take me to the Southern Ocean to harpoon whales. I explained that I am purely into it for the sport of it. I could not care less about what happened to the whale after I harpooned and landed him, as long as I got every tooth out of its jaw for my trophy room. I told them that from the show they looked to be the perfect outfit for me. While they were distracting the Japanese whalers I could be put into prime time position to sink a harpoon or two into the neck of a giant whale.
I hope someone in their group read it and cried a little bit.

Just watch the damn south park episode on them, it is funnier than this post.
Sorry for the rant, I really really hate those mfers, aka Japenese Long linners, shark finners etc. They have lareday wipped out all the fish within 500 miles of Japan and worked the shite out of the Gulf in the 80's. We will never know how much harm they did, but their slicks of dead fish would go on for 30 miles. Almost every fisheries problem we have traces back to them. Bluefin swords, sharks, mullet Tuna, etc. BTW Go catch yellowfin off venice now, because after they wipe out the blue fin they will wipe out the yellow fin next.

I agree the Jap fishermen aren't doing the worlds fisheries any good. I just disagree with the methods they use to try to stop them. I would think the money would be better spent on other methods.

It's not your money. What other methods would you use?
Let me know how they work. TIA.
