Avery makes some good beers. I had a chance to visit the brewery in Boulder last summer.

Try the Maharaja if you haven't had it yet.

Yes, very good. I've only had it once--at your place a few weeks back.

Did you mean to reply to Boo?

I've had Titan a few times. Drank a few in Auburn AL back in March. Really good American IPA.

The Estate IPA was way up there too.

I vote for an IPA board. I'm dead serious.

I've been meaning to try some of Avery's speciality stuff. I tried some of their regular lineup years ago, and thought it was pretty solid. But it has been a while, and it looks like they have a more diverse selection now.

It is a nice brew. Smuttynose's Big A is good too.

Having tried both recently, I'd lean towards the Smuttynose. But 2XIPA is a good one as well.

I was probably splitting hairs. Both were really good, and I didn't try them side by side. I had a 2XIPA last night and the Smuttynose a week or so ago. I've had the 2XIPA on draft in NYC before and remember that one as being hoppier than the bottle I had last night. So maybe I had an older bottle.
