I know Dempsey's has been discussed ad nauseam on here but the search function sucks. I may finally go eat there tomorrow night for dinner. Was wondering what I should order that isn't going to completely clog my arteries . :pagingLL:

A "cup and a half", however the choices are still up to you.

This. Everything is gonna clog your arteries.

That being said, cup and a half with chicken and sausage gumbo and a chicken bacon cheddar sammich. Throw in some boudin balls for good measure.

HA! Good luck!

If you get the grilled chicken plate, ask them to make it "grilled italian" style like it is on the salad.

The Grilled Italian Chicken Salad and the Grilled Shrimp with Mandarin Oranges Salad are both good.. with house dressing.

Oh.. and you should definitely come say hello to me behind the bar. I won't be serving or else I'd wait on you.

Know something funny? After reviewing last year's sales, the chicken fried steak is the #1 selling item for the entire year.. and it's only available 1 day a week. CRAZY!

The cup and a half is the most ordered item, but since it has choices, it wasn't factored into what lone product sells the most.

So do you serve fellow Td members who may happen to be under the legal drinking age?

I remember getting some crawfish boudin balls from Dempsey's a few years ago that were delicious. I haven't seen where they've had these lately, unless I've missed them.

I concur on their everyday boudin balls. They're just meh, and lots of times way too salty.
