Just playing around with the idea of Jesters that I've seen thrown around.
Not sure I'm all about being 'clowns' or 'Laughing stock of league', but I think with a little edge, it COULD/POSSIBLY work?

My thoughts after scanning through a couple of Hornets fan sites,
Krewe: Lot of people like it, but too many people really hate it
Jazz: Almost everybody wants it back, but that isn't likely.
Voodoo: Most fans would like it if they can get it, but again its not likely.
Brass: Doesn't look like people hate it, but its not exactly popular.
Breakers: Nobody outside of NOLA will understand what the hell this means.
Sinners: Some like it, as it mixes well with the Saints name. But most think it's stupid.
Pelicans: Would represent the city, but not very feared of an animal. Then again neither is a Blue Jay or Cardinal
Angels: Would represent the city, but its already a baseball nickname. Most people will want something new.
Knights: Safe name IMO. Could easily work in a FDL onto a shield as the logo
Bounce: Just no.
Gators: Let Florida keep that IMO
My preference is: Sinners then Pelicans then Knights. I think it'll end up being Pelicans, just a hunch though

Revelers would fit nicely in that logo. I'm still sticking with Revelers.

What about Louisiana Sportsmen? Logo built around hunting and fishing. The Hive can change to The Sportsmen's Paradise.
