People will turn on the tv to either watch him win or lose. Flourish or Fail. Its been that way since he turned pro.

The final round of the Masters was one the least watched masters in the last 20 years.

Final Round Master's TV Ratings Fall 22%

When Tiger isn't on TV, it's like golf doesn't exist. Look at the US Open last year, Rory ran away with the championship and yet the ratings were way down.

Espn had most of Tiger's round on tv for Good Friday and it was the third most watched golf telecast in cable history. Third most watched Golf telecast

Oh I mean I agree that he makes a huge difference, it's just funny all the people that hate Tiger, rag on the people that only watch when he is playing. But it seems like no one is watching this week

1st was the 2010 Masters (Tiger finished t-4) and 2008 US Open when Tiger won

Please go search all of the golf threads this year. I've watched a ton of golf this year. So what if I don't want to watch the week after watching golf for 5 straight days (started on Wed) for the Masters. You know, some people actually go out and play golf when they get the chance. Today I watched a little LSU baseball, went outside and cut the grass, and by then the golf tourny was over.

I'll be going to the Zurich Classic even though El Tigre will not be there.
