Tee Times and Scoreboard

Anyone gonna be watching this week? I know it's a pretty big drop off from last week and a lot of the big players are taking a few weeks off.

Thoughts? Predictions?

Well apparently the course is REALLY short, like under 7000 yards, so they were saying its going to be someone who probably isn't long with pinpoint accuracy.

I think I'm gonna go with Furyk

Sorry, I'm just not going to be able to give much attention to the tournament this weekend. It would be like trying to get excited for a LSU football game against Northwestern St the week after the BCS Championship game.

Headin there tomorrow, my favorite tournament of the year! Watch a little golf, head out on a booze cruise, rinse and repeat for three days, freakin awesome!

If you hear announcers talk about people getting rowdy in the Marina (it's right next to the course) that's our group. Apparently they mentioned it on TV last year hagahaha

I figured as much, I feel the same way, however most of my friends are on SB and i'm here working so I'll probably watch, not much else on I don't think.

I'm not gonna lie, I had to look it up on the PGA tour website.

Didn't this used to be the Verizon Heritage?

I'll be checking in from time to time for fantasy purposes. Luke Donald definitely is one of the hardest working guys in golf. He plays tourneys like these on the PGA and still plays a bunch on the European. Easy to see why he won both money lists last year.

Interesting that certain people who complain about people only watching when tiger is playing won't be watching this week. Weird.

On the other hand I'll be watching as usual. Not a deep field but still some big name.
Also gives a chance to see some potential stars. Remember it wasn't long ago bubba Watson was just another name with no wins

I also want Snedeker to win, he won last year, good younger player.

He has to play this one. He's sponsored by RBC

Is he sponsored by transitions and Zurich as well? He's consistently played those tournaments as well when other top players have skipped these. Not to mention his win at the children's miracle network classic on the fall series.

I thought PNC bought RBC.

They changed the name of the arena here. No change for the tourney?

1st round update:

Must be windy or something because there are only 2 guys at -2 and another 8 or so at -1 with the vast majority of the field at even or well over par.

Guess the power rankings at Golfchannel.com and me have something in common.

ETA: How does Sang-Moon Bae make the cut at the Masters and then shoot +12 in 1 ROUND at the RBC?
