Has the word "Fair Play" lost all meaning?

Football is at the end of the day a sport, not a Roman gladiator spectacle.
I mean, it is one thing to be aggressive, but to aim for someones head is to make a deliberate attempt to cause grievous injury.
I think the NFL was too lenient.
His knowledge and failure to act upon that knowledge, makes Sean Payton completely responsible. He could and should have fired Greg Williams immediately on the spot.
Sean Payton and Greg Williams should receive LIFE bans from the NFL to serve as coaches / managers/ administrators.
Once coaches learn that their careers would be over for running a bounty scheme, they will stop doing so.
Bounties are for criminals, not football players.

I wish Gregg Williams was banned for life, but thats pretty much the only thing I can agree with you here. There is no place for this in football, but if you actually believe the NFL was too lenient, you are a moron.
