Was picking up a pizza from Brooklyn pizza(great pizza by the way) and my son wanted to go in,and see our QB`s place. Very nice looking place, but I don`t eat that kind of sandwich. 12:15,had a few open tables,no wait at the counter. Fourteen people working that I could see! This has to be a tax write off. Maybe I`am the dumb arse,we will see. Anyone been, how is the food?

Sandwiches are much better than Subway or other sub places. I have no complaints.

Never been to that one, but Jimmy Johns only serves sandwiches with cold cuts. Nothing else. Doesn't really do it for me.
When I go to subway, I typically get roasted chicken breasts or steak and cheese.

What kind of sandwich is that?
I really dig JJ's, for a cheap sandwich that's ready in 30 secs. it's better than any other comparable sandwich place. It's very sadly the closest thing I can get down here that reminds me of a northeastern deli.

Went to the Jimmy John's in Laffy after church a few weeks ago.
I agree that the sandwiches are better than subway, as is the service. I'm on a low carb diet, so I limit my sandwich intake, no matter the source. But JJ is better, if I had to choose.

Cant say its the best sandwich compared to local delis, but when in a hurry you can cant beat that it takes a min to get in and out. I can defiantly taste the freshness in bread and ingredients compared to other deli chains. Also, try panini pressing a sandwich when you get home.

I'm a fan of the business model. When a person orders from Subway, it take 5 minutes to make the sandwich. At JJ, it take 30 seconds. They get customers in and out so much faster that is one reason they don't look as full.
I was in line with 20 people at the one in Billings, I had my food within 3 minutes. At Subway, it would have been 15 to 20 minutes.
Very unique business model. I'm hoping someone on this board has some %'s they will share with me.

Works perfect for a place like br or college towns. They will deliver just one sandwich and deliver late. It is also very fast. i like cold sandwiches on fresh bread, so this place does it for me. Wish they had one where i live now

I have a friend that just opened one up... They mostly cater to large businesses in the area. So you don't see any of those customers. And like others have said... They get you in and out with the quickness

This
It's over priced crap IMO, I can think of a dozen places within 3 min of JJ where you can eat better for the same $. Haven't been to his place but went to a couple in Houston.
Still love ya Drew, now don't hold out.

JJ's is the worst sandwich in the history of civilization. It's not comparable to Subway. Subway is much better. That doesn't tell you anything about Subway. It only tells you how bad Jimmy John's is. Why anyone who has functioning taste buds chooses to eat here is beyond me. If I want fast and not absolutely dog pooh digusting, I go to a gas station convenience store and buy one of those pre-made mushy sandwiches, which are terrible, but not nearly as bad as Jimmy John's.
If a person tells you that he or she freely eats at Jimmy John's, mark it down in your mind never again to trust another word about food from that person.
