One thing you said earlier that I overlooked was about the pond being spring fed. Have you had the PH checked? When they dug our big pond originally they hit a spring and the PH was so low that we had a lot of fish died. Wildlife and Fisheries tested the water for us. After a year or two the spring must have silted over because the PH came back up.
You might want to check the PH.

Doubt it is a pH issue. Th bream are VERY healthy, and I caught a 7lb bass out of there within the last year. I think it is too many damn small bass to be honest. One other guy fishes the pond where his property borders it and he said he hadn't caught a bass out there in 2 months. The day he said that my brother and I caught 45. The fish are there, just too many I think.
ETA: Point being, even though people fish it, they are completely incompetent. I am the only person out there on any sort of regular basis that knows what the hell I'm doing bass fishing.

Nah, I think the catfish were eating the pond out of being a healthy habitat. Maybe too many catfish for the pond, not sure but the bass fishing went to hell.
This is what I've always heard. Catfish are like vacuum cleaners.

You should find someone on the OT to get you a turnkey operation that nets you millions. Thats what they all do. Or you could find someone on the poli board to teach you how to live off the government titty. Thats what the democrats there do.

Me bumping a worm in a pond is more dangerous to the fish population than a stick of dynamite. Fact.

Catfish Stunner
It says it needs flowing water to work and that it will not work in ponds? I have been told by people that use it, that it is a catfish's worst nightmare.
