LSU ran for 287 yards and added another 278 yards through the air.

Well, I'm glad lsusports had that article - although we certainly know to take Miles' stats with a huge grain of salt.

He has never done anything perfectly and he was extremely inaccurate at times in the second half. Mett doesn't have to be very good to be better than that guy.

I think q Qb that can recognize 8 and 9 in the box would have helped us Jan 9. Also if this Qb had a good quick release, a 2 or 3 step drop and a great touch pass.

JJ would always drop back 10-15 yards and not step into the pocket. Hope Mett doesn't have that problem.

he doesn't. from what I have seen, Mett moves quite well in the pocket.

You comparing Mett to Cam, is ludicrous!

we played the worst offensive performance of all time and we were only down 9-0 at half. One different QB could have made a difference

This is a no-brainer. Give LSU the nations average starting QB in the country among the 120, and LSU would have been way better of a team.

We had the best regular season in LSU history arguably college football history. 1 player would not have won Jan 9

One player lost that game. I would venture to guess Mett's grandmother could have gotten past midfield once in the game.

They are both junior college transfers. Mett was ready to play by the end of last year. He would have been able to throw the ball downfield in the BCSNG. I cannot name a reason why we shouldn't have played him or Lee for that matter. Can you?

That is the ONLY thing they have in common.

What makes you think he could have done this against bama's D?

Mett didn't play because of experience. Lee, I don't know why...
