Yes, obviously. Also, a link to players that matter (Josh Freeman doesnt count) saying the Saints played dirtier than any other team they played.

I love the people who know nothing about what really goes on in NFL football games come here and point out the failings of the players for shameful tactics. It doesn't matter that Marcellus Wiley and Mike Golic were talking just this morning how every defensive player in the NFL is trying to take out the opposing team's top players in order to win the game. Stop acting as if you know something when it's clear you know nothing.
ETA: with the exception of a few ex player analysts, it is mostly journalists who have never played the game that are waxing morally about the Saints' bad behavior. Most ex players that I've heard or read about are saying this is common place and accepted as part of the game.

Ok I'm sorry. One player for one hit in one game that the "victim" didnt argue about or feel the need to cry about. Your right. Our bounty pool was a vicious hell of a horrible thing.

No... He wasn't you dumb shite. The only flag that was thrown the entire playoffs for unnecessary roughness was on McCray for hitting Favre on the reverse to Harvin.

(A handoff, mind you; not a pass. How often have you seen unnecessary roughness called on a defensive player for hitting the quarterback after a handoff? I can't recall ever seeing that, aside from this play.)
Keep defending the dirty tactics if you want, but it's obvious to everyone else. Bottom line, you did what you needed to do to win the game.

This whole thing is crazily blown out of proportion. I can remember this at the high school level, except with pizzas, not money. Football is violent and i think everyone understands that.
Id bet if money wasn't involved as a reward, this would be a non issue.

That flag was thrown. But he was fined for that hit (where Favre was in the way) and the low hit on Favre in the third quarter.
But I'm pretty sure the rule that you can't hit a QB at or below the knee was approved after the 2005 season when Carson Palmer and a few other QBs got hurt. So I don't know if it would have been an illegal hit before that.
