Best Upscalish Seafood Dish/Restaurant in NOLA

Taking my wife to dinner next Friday for birthday. Being Friday and Catholic, no meat.

Was thinking GW Fins, but didn't know if yall had any other ideas. TIA.

GW Fins would be good. You could get the soft shell crab at Clancy's as well.

GW Fin's/ most anything on their menu. I've never had a bad or even good meal there. Its always outta sight!

GW Fins as a number of really, really good seafood dishes and, IMO, is the best seafood restaurant in New Orleans. As far as best individual seafood dish, there are many restaurants including Clancy's, Galatoire's, Muriel's, etc. that I would consider.

K Paul's is my go to if I want a really good seafood dish. I have never had GW Fins though.
