Is either location 'better' than the other?

Anyone had their lasagna? Thoughts?

Anyone had their steak? Thoughts?

I've been to the one on O'neal also.

Very underrated place IMO.

Solid steak. I was surprised.

Don't know about the lasagna

The one in Bocage seems not as casual then O'neal. They have a pretty good burger and the Tuna is good.

I'm a regular at the one in Bocage. They do a decent sensation salad, although not fully faithful to the original.

I usually get the cedar-planked salmon.

Sensation salad is notably good for a side salad. Burger is good. I like the grilled chicken sandwich a lot as well. Haven't tried the steak.

Their chicken sandwich is the best in BR IMO.

Their Red Stick burger is one of the best burgers in BR.

Apart from being way too big, I agree. It puts Five Guys to shame.

Absolutely. Blows away the Fat Cow/Burgersmith debate. And of the 3 "burger" places at that corner (Dearman's, Five Guys, Mugshots), Portobello's has by far the best burger. Those other places should be ashamed.

burger & pork chops are very good, but getting them to not cook both rare seems to be a problem for the kitchen staff.

I use to work at the o Neal locataion, the food can be great and all the sides and soups are made in house, however their big downfall is consistency in food quality and service

If any of y'all get a steak ask for the blackened ribeye, it is a ribeye with blackened seasoning and covered with a merlot crawfish sauce

Is that the same sauce they put on the filets?

I've tried the steak once and it was mediocre at best, maybe just an off night though. But I've had the fire grilled pork chops many, many times and they have been outstanding each and every time. I'm talking about the George Oneal location, never been to their other one.

The sauce is a little different but the blackened ribeye is delicious
Also add chicken on their nuts about mushrooms
And they have the best croutons
