He was rooting for them in the NCG. I'll take that as a bad sign.

I think he may want to play WR, but most project him as a S

seems like a lot of Louisiana kids don't have much loyalty to their home state.

Diarse is not Collin's. Not even close. I still don't understand how some get so worked up about him.

This could be the only real reason I could see the Bama interest. Maybe one of Bama's staff suggested that he could get a shot at WR at Bama?

Not to pull this conspiracy BS, but I honestly think the aura that ESPN creates for BAMA and Saban greatly benefits them in recruiting guys. These players are easily influenced and to them ESPN is the end all be all in sports. He also said something to the affect that, "coach Saban told me its my decision and I'm not bound to anyone".

Elleshoe, man I've felt the same way for the last year.

I think the staff needs to make more public announcements restore the prestige of the whole institution and how they could all become hometown heroes once they leave.

are they recruiting diarse as a safety? I don't think he can play corner in sec. if safety, then he won't see field in a long time for them if he chooses them.

surprised if he goes there, but all kids think they are the best in the country so we shall see.

ESPN doesn't create an aura for Bama. Winning 40+ games and 2 national titles in 4 years does.

LSU has been on ESPN just as much as Bama in the past year.

If the kids continue to leave the state LSU should bump the OOS recruiting budget up or atleast drill more into Texas. Diarse projects are what top 3 player in state?

what's really comical about that is the overwhelming majority of people in the country either don't really care about football or are fair weather fans at best. Plus there are plenty of people in the state that didn't go to or don't like LSU. I heard Hanagriff talk about it before, his dad doesn't care about sports and runs his own business, a guy like that doesn't care who some one roots for or went to school. 5,10 years from now only a hadful of hardcore fans will even remember.

I agree with Memphis on this one. I think Diarse has some special qualities but my gut tells me HS may be his peak. I definitely think his best hope for success in college is at wr. He'll likely play S at first anyway but I think his special qualities are with the ball. Not in the class of Collins though. I'm no expert like the coaches but those are my thoughts.
