I had it once, but then had to send the Wii in for repairs so I wiped it out before sending it in. Are you still not able to update the Wii if you have Homebrew on it? I've just been craving playing a little Tecmo Super Bowl and RBI baseball.

Is it worth it to remove the channel, update the Wii, and then add it back on? Or is that too much trouble? I have Netflix on the Wii and they're supposed to be getting Hulu Plus soon. Just wondered if not updating is the best thing.

if they do an update there's usually not a homebrew exploit for the new updates for at least a couple of weeks. I would homebrew it and wait till after the update till there's a homebrew work around that system version.

Ok, thanks.

Any benefits to homebrewing other than playing any and all old games?

I say its worth it to Homebrew it. There is not anything wii can offer than you can not get a wad for anyway!

I went years without playing my Wii! Then I modded it.

Now i've gone weeks without playing my Wii!

Moral of this story, Wii just isn't that great compared to the other systems!

Wii is valuable for the big 3 or for titles they have on each new system.

Mario
Zelda
Mario kart
Donkey kong
Starfox
