So who is your top 5 preseason for College Fooball next year?

Here is mine.
1)LSU
2)USC
3)Oregon
4)Alabama
5)no clue... (these 4 are clearly way above the rest, imo. No clue who is next...)
I do realize that preseason rankings mean nothing. However, how would you rank them? And who do you expect to go to the Natty in Miami Next year and why?
Bama-Loses many key players. Has great coach and much depth. However, I don't think they can beat LSU next year.
LSU- Almost for sure. Tons of young talent returning vs the following winner below:
USC- Tons of young talent returning and only if they get no key injuries, as they are super lean and not deep.
Oregon- Has less overall starting talent then USC but clearly way more overall depth.
50/50 on UO or USC. 75% chance on LSU making it, 25% Bama making it, imo.
May revisit this thread once the new season starts, and also ends, to see who was the closest...

1)Bama- They have a good o-line returning and the D will always be good.
2)LSU-Talent
3)USC-Barkley and the D has improved
4)UGA-Murray and a good D
5)Kansas St.-Klein is back along with 18 other starters from a solid team last year. They are my dark horse.

I am going to enjoy a nice laugh next year when LSU does not allow your Offense to score a single point.
Bow down to Oregon son... You may call us your hated arch rival, but we call you our Bitch.

Yeah, my mind just cannot make it up for #5 between your Arkansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Georgia. (I would put tOSU in there at #5 but they cannot play in a bowl game next year)

How will Oregon do without some of those key guys they had this year?
Posted on 1/27/12 at 2:54 am to TiggerWoods
USC is the most overhyped team ever. they will lose to Oregon, Notre Dame, Washington or Stanford this year

You are a very bright CFB fan, I can tell. However just to let you know bro, UO is loaded at RB. Though we lost LMJ, who broke all UO records and I think ended #2 in the whole Conference in the 3 years he played... Well, we have as our #2 back, the best player to come out of L.A. Cali, in DAT. Both he and Barner will share carries. Both are awesome!
And for QB, losing DT, well, we have 2 great QB's fighting for the job. And one stepped in last year when DT was injured and did so incredible of a job that many Duck fans were screaming that he start instead of DT.
We have Chip Kelly back. We will again be fine and again be the top dog in our Conference. The NFL wanted him, but he said NO! He said No because we are inches away from winning our first Natty. And i predict Oregon vs LSU in the natty next year. And so do many other experts...

don't think Alabama can beat LSU? We will have the experienced QB, and a good O line. the defense will be alive by then. We'll see

Arkansas does get both LSU and Alabama at home next year.
They'd played with both of them for awhile but then the games got out of hand. They just need more players to be able to hang with them for the full 60 minutes. They've been recruiting well. One of these years they'll break through.

With all due respect Sir, I think Bama has the best D coach in all America. And I think they are very deep with talent. They indeed might win it all next year, you may be right. But if my money was on it, with LSU's youth and experience starting all coming back, my money would be on LSU. Either way, good luck to you next year...
The games of the year imo, will be LSU vs Bama and USC vs Oregon. I really do think the winners of each face each other in the Natty.
Bama fan, you may indeed have a experienced QB returning but who do you have coming back to run the ball? And you guys are losing so much on D next year. In my view, you indeed have a great shot again next year, but stacking up vs LSU will be a feat next year. You are right though, we shall see...

Replacing USC's LT will be a bigger deal than ESPN wants you to believe. Oregon didn't seem to miss a beat when DT went out of the game this year. Bama 2012 = Arkansas 2011. They will beat the shite out of everyone, except LSU and Arkansas. They lose those 2 games on the road. LSU returns every running back, a ton on D, and actually gets a QB for the first time in 4 years. Add to that the fuel of 1/9/12 for the entire offseason and LSU 2012 = Miami 2001.

You are right. Arky may indeed pose a thread to win it all next year. They have indeed been creeping up each single year and may have enough to win it all next year. LSU just has blazing amount of talent returning next year. We shall see though...

bama took a huge hit, in terms of who they lost. plus, LSU will actually have a qb next year.

i think it's safe to say they can beat LSU, but i would have to say LSU will be the favorite and should be.

Chip Kelly would be the biggest retard in the universe if he moved Thomas from WR to RB.
