With each passing day many LSU fans will become more and more resentful that Miles refuses to tell us anything close to the truth on why Lee wouldn't be put in come hell or high water! Why on Earth did Miles zone out and not care in the biggest game of his coaching career? Why do you play to win in 13 regular season games and then give up early in the 2nd half of the championship game? Why are we taking 30 seconds to get each play off when we are down two scores with ~8 minutes left??? I've never seen so many mind numbingly dumb coaching decisions made in a game before, and I doubt I ever will again unless this is the Les Miles we will have from now on.

When we do get some truth about what happened, I doubt it will come from Miles.

I agree. Something happened to divide the team in the locker room

Some truth = some reliable information.

Call it what you want, if information comes from Les Miles, it won't be that credible.

Better to keep your mouth shut and look like an idiot than it is to open your mouth and prove it!

Doc's right. Whatever went into the decision-making in that game/locker room will go to the grave with Les. One of the departing players or a coach will have to fill us in on why such decisions were made.

Jesus H. Christ! He said why at the postgame PC. Have you not been paying attention to what Jarrett Lee does when pressured the past 4 years and realize that Bama was able to do it Monday night and STILL drop 7 or 8 guys back into coverage.

the sad thing is that after 7 years, you'd think Miles knows this fanbase won't let things die. He is making it worse for himself and the team by keeping the truth as his own dirty little secret. I am not saying that we deserve to know anything. I am just stating that Miles has to accept the good with the bad. If he wants to cash large checks paid for by a passionate fan base, then he needs to accept that the passion works both ways.

Certainly, we deserve to know why we've been continually lied to.

Lee gets sacked WAY fricking less than JJ did. So that was a bullshite response. He can say Lee doesn't handle pressure, but neither does JJ.

Whatever.... Miles just screwed up. He will admit it soon enough. If he doesn't he's a bigger fool than we thought.

I do think he has lost a lot of credibility with the Tiger fan base b/c of his "fail to try" effort on Mon. night.

We all know it was embarrassing to say the least. On a brighter side we're pre-season #1 for 2012! I just hope Miles learns from this fiasco. Geaux Tigers!

I agree with the OP and have said it several time since the game. Miles needs to own this. He needs to take responsibility for a game plan that wouldn't work in HS ball and tell the Tiger Nation he is sorry and it will never, ever happen again.

Bet you it never happens.

Les probably doesn't even know we're mad.
