Certainly, it's not a great article to write at this time, and GG writes extremely annoying articles. Still, once you get beyond the "I feel so sorry for Lee" crowd, there are still legitimate reasons to be disturbed by the way Miles has handled this situation this season. As one of his most loyal defenders over the years, it really has taken me aback.

I don't think we know the whole story and I think Les is taking the heat to protect Lee.

Maybe Les believes JJ gives his team the best chance to win. There is a reason Lee couldn't beat JJ out for the last 4 years.

I hate GG. He is an embarrassment to the LSU fan base. Drop it.

I think it's funny that GG said three weeks ago that Lee was going to be in eligible. Now he wrote this shite.

No one knows the real story. The skipping classes and all, but whatever. Lee ain't playing against Bama, unless JJ is hurt, and GG knows this.....its pure trolling.

GG didn't write anything that most fans haven't been thinking or saying. While I really like Miles, his handling of Lee has been disconcerting at best.

I am on LSUs side and JJ is our starter.

There is a very small population of LSU fans that don't agree with this at this point in the season. There is a larger population (myself included) that believes JLee has earned more playing time than he has received in the last couple of games ... particularly when LSU was up big against Arky and when the offense was laying an egg in the first half against UGA. JJ is the starter and there's little debate about that. But the guy that stepped in when JJ screwed up has certainly earned more than he's gtting.

I have yet to see a valid argument on why JLee should not see the field in blowout games. Since you brought this article to the site, why don't you go ahead and make justification for zero playing time (really for either JLee or Mett)?

So what you are saying is that "win at all costs" and "don't care who you hurt to get there" is okay? Same thing that is part of the problem in our society today. It's okay to steal as long as no one sees you, hit and run is fine as long as you don't get caught. There are some standards people used to live by that are slowly seeping away from society that are definitely not making us a better people. Another is, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Someone a little smarter than us said that a few years ago. I think some people are a little upset with the actual treatment without a valid explanation.

Cauble said it best. It is a mystery. Thats why it keeps coming up.

The answer is clearly this- Miles thinks JJ is better. Then you watch him play in the SECCG and wonder how that conclusion would have been made by Les. Or why the two QB system of 2 years is now completely gone.

There are questions surrounding the QB situation and reporters need something to write about. Its not rocket science.

Should every article just read "Geaux Tigers, 13-0, Les does no wrong"?

Actually it is 3 years. Lee was the starter in 2008 until he got hurt.

As far as reason Lee couldnt beat out JJ yea there is a big one............. Les Miles!

Just curious but how do you know it's a larger population? Informal poll, or just talking to friends and family?

Man. I'm glad Guilbeau didn't write an article when me and Slow couldn't figure out how Keiland wasn't seeing the field. You know... back when LSU was losing games.

For the record, I don't really care about this.

It's the time span from Kentucky through Alabama that I find most disturbing.

Totally. If you think other recruits don't see what is happening with no valid reasons, you are dillusional. Other coaches use anything they can during recruiting and to emphasize a kid could be pulled for no valid reason could definitley be used against Les.

Unfortunately, coaches today are judged by their W-L record ... I understand that. And I understand Miles' decision to start Jefferson over Lee. But playing JLee in games that have already been put away doesn't impact that W-L record. The total disappearance of JLee in the last few games is mind-boggling. If grades, or skipping class is the issue, then don't play him at all (even for the last snap). If there isn't some underlying issue, then JLee has certainly earned more snaps than he's getting.

Miles comes up with some of the stupidest explanations to explain his actions of any human being I've ever encountered. It seems like he either thinks we are real stupid and can't think for ourselves, that he can 'outsmart' us with his cleverness, or is just plain hardheaded and refuses to answer.

What makes you think he needs to provide an excuse or reason to satisfy you tards?

Good article, it is not a mystery to me, it's simply miles playing favorites. There are few times in history that this type of situation has occurred
