LSU fans in Atlanta for the SECCG

never met a more classier fan base. 
had a great time partying with you guys. sat in the middle of the lsu section near the band and did my fair share of dancing with you guys wearing my red and black.
Good luck in the NCG, i've never seen a more deserving team.

If you're ever in BR for a game, you'll find countless Tiger 'gaters offering you food should you stop in. They ARE classy. Just ask Omaha; they pray LSU goes to the CWS every year because the fun of the whole thing is night and day when they don't make it. We're good people. Of course there are idiots -- as there are with every fanbase -- but we respect sports, are very knowledgeable, and appreciative of all people. We've a very, very diverse cross-section of cultures in the state. Even when we give you hell, we still appreciate ya.

I'm glad you had a good time.
Most of our fans love to party and are great to be around. If you ever come to Baton Rouge for a game, you will see how much fun we are.

My Dad and I had a blast. The UGA fans were awesome. My Dad I were talking on our way home how great the fans were and saw nothing but people having a good time.

Your observation may have been biased by the fact that fans that travel tend to have a little more disposable income and people that have more disposable income are a little more educated...just saying.
ETA: the UGA fans I sat next to were gracious (even in the first half) and we shared good conversation.
