Which one? If its the 18 inch its a good price but not incredible.. Normally around 260. If its the 22 inch thats an amazing price.

So you are saving about 30 dollars off their normal price.
I saw they had a genesis gas grill on there earlier I almost bought one but the price at 649 vs normal price of 729 wasnt all that spectacular.

recently bought one (18") as a gift for my dad at the HD in Picayune, MS. for $44. The person that worked there told me I better run to the checkout with it. Went back a day later and they were all gone, including the display

Are you sure it was a WSM and not the Brinkman? I didnt even know HD even sold the WSM. I know they sell the brinkman.

YES. I own four webers, 2 WSM and 2@22" one touch silver and know the brand but like to post lies on the "Food and Drink Board"!
Seriously, it was an incredible deal and I verified with the worker at HD that the price was legit, hence the comment that I should run to the checkout.

I dont get why you didnt buy the entire stock they had then. Thats a pretty big profit you could have had.

Bought one as a gift for my dad, went back the next day and the two that were left were gone. I was going to buy another as a backup for parts or future gift. Any more info you need or should I consult you next time I come across a great deal? Sheesh...

I just thing that IF there is an item at a store selling for $44 dollars that NORMALLY sells for 300 and there are 2 left in stock then you are a fool not to buy three instead of 1 and sell the other 2.

But why you would not buy the other 2 in stock and make money on your purchase. Thats an item that would fetch 150-200 every day on ebay.

Things I have learned today:
When posting some advice on where someone may find a good deal on a product, post it and log out of TD.
When your character is called into question post proof of said acquisition, and log out of TD.
When undeniable proof is viewed and still disputed, log out of TD.
When continually chastised for said acquisition, ignore poster and move on!
and to answer your question, Catman88, I did not want to throw up a flag of the unusual price and wanted to secure the one WSM for my father, there was no room in my vehicle for more than one, and I returned the next day and they were gone...all of this info has been provided previously in this thread.
