Which is your favorite? Rum? Brandy? Whiskey?

This was my Dad's favorite...he'd drink this stuff every Christmas. I don't really like it, but I buy a bottle every year in memory of him...Stuff has some punch to it.

If you can find it, Catdaddy Moonshine. Good enough to use in egg nog but not too good to ruin the booze. It has that allspice, nutmeg going on anyway and it just explodes in eggnog

Trust me on this. Carstairs whiskey and sailor jerrys. I add a good pinch of kayenne pepper. I'll post my recipe when I dig it up.

Well tried a couple different things last night. Makers Mark was a poor choice, and I don't know if it's true of all whiskeys, but it made strange combination with the Egg Nog flavor. Almost a spoiled taste.

The Bacardi spiced rum however, was delicious. I will definitely be taking more of that this season.

Thanks for the suggestions.
