Inspired by the user MoreOrLes, who mentioned in the OT that he will be burying his father on Saturday, and inspired by the loss of my own dad earlier this year...who would you like to pay tribute to that is no longer with us and who you KNOW would be enjoying the Tigers this season? Haters/flamers kindly go somewhere else. Thanks.

My dad would be loving it. It is hard not having him here, but I know he would be really proud of how this team has just dominated. I hate that he can't see it but know that he is somewhere keeping tabs on what is going on!

My grandfather loved when LSU and Bama played. He would be even happier that Lee was starting over Jeffereson. For all the wrong reasons but he would be happy.

PortCity LSU, aka Colby Mitchell, the great spirit of the old Tiger Lair.

Colby with his rumbling voice and battered white LSU cap, sitting behind the wheel of his truck, driving that long stretch from Shreveport to Baton Rouge. He would have braved Armaggedon to be at this game.

You are much missed on the boards. I hope you are enjoying that Merit cigarette, ham sammy, and 23 year old girl in a purple and gold drenched heaven. I'll do my best to represent you in Tuscaloosa.

My friend Thomas. He passed in February of this year. Was only 15. He was a fan and I'm sure he'd be enjoying this.

My Dad and my Mom. Both were huge fans. One of my favorite stories was they were at the LSU - Ole Piss Halloween game and my mom was pregnant, hot, tired and conviced my Dad to leave before the end of the game. Needless to say as they were walking to the car they heard the crowd roar and my Dad just took off running to the car to listen on the radio - so he missed Billy Cannon's run - he never let my Mom forget that one and it was always a good LSU family story to tell.

My mom. I posted back in 07 on here

LINK

I lived with her all my life up until college and she used to put up with me screaming and cussing at the tv for lsu football, basketball and baseball. I was at the BCS NC game in 08 and called her after the game, as well as the Sugar Bowl in 04 when we beat Oklahoma. I wish she could have been there, but it was great to share that moment with her. I know she will be looking down on the Tigers.

My father, who passed in 1998, was the biggest TIGER fan ever!!! He was diabetic and had a stroke which paralyzed him. He would lay in the bed and watch LSU, football, basketball, baseball...whatever sport he could get. If he couldn't get it on TV he would make us load him up and he would find a hotel that had cable tv that he could find the game on! After a few years he lost his sight to diabetic complications so he would just listen to Hawthorn on the radio. He was the best dad ever and I know that Nov. 5th he will be shouting GEAUX TIGERS from Heaven!!!

I wonder if they have CBS in heaven and if they do is it the local feed?

Can I turn down the sound and listen to the radio?
