Every now and then, it's good to sit back and reflect on the great men that came before us. All of these pictures are from the club that my family started a long arse time ago and is still going strong today. Feel free to add your own. Enjoy. The links are to some old homemade videos from the camp. It's excellent shite. The music, of course, was added by the lady who converted them from film reel to DVD.

Thats when hunting was all about fun and not about the competition like it is these days. I love having the old men around the camp fire listening to their hunting stories and looking at these old pics.

I love looking at all them old pics. You have them saved somewhere? I remember going through them all on FB about a year ago. Keep posting em.

Hard to believe we thought we were going to lose it all last year.

Downshift,

Very cool thread and cool pics. I bet they didn't ride their 4-wheelers up to the stands either or at least within a few hundred yards. Most of us have it so easy these days.

Thanks for sharing,

Hate that I have not scanned the outdoor ones of these guys, but this is my Dad(left) and his 3 brothers before(I think) they were deployed to the Pacific and Europe. All avid fishermen and hunters. I'll look for the ones with game later.
