Try to get her to wait for 11/11/11 your kid would have a badass birthday.

You're gonna have a crazy Nov either way.

the gestation period is actually 40 weeks, or 10 months. 9 months is a common misconception and probably led to the poorly timed sex for the OP and his wife.

Jesus. I had a kid born the Friday before bama in 08 and the friday before Auburn last year.

Induce labor on Friday and watch the game in the hospital. It's the safest bet.

My son was born during the fla game last year. He came out right after the fake fg I will never forget that moment I was giving the play by play to the dr while he was catching the baby. Before ya'll talk bad about me this was my second kid so I had done it before and at least I was in the room.

Just talk to her NOW about NEVER EVER planning a birthday party on LSU game day DURING the game.

Oh, and I went into labor on the due date of baby #1, 7 days late for baby #2 and day before due date for baby #3! Good luck.

(Is your wife a football fan??? Really, good luck if the answer is NO!)

phelps, I was thinking that you were giving play by play to your wife! Really, I'd have wanted play by play had it been me!

You know technically she can have that baby without you. Your job was done 9 months ago.
Furthermore,Indian women used to squat behind a tree and have the baby without complaining. We pamper our women too much these days.

correct on biology, wrong on chronolgy.

40 weeks is not 10 months. gestation is closer to 9 months than 10 as 9 months is approximately 39 weeks. it is that extra week that threw off the proper timing.

Dude - the priority for a healthy baby is so far out high in the stratosphere compared to a mere game on the field.
Dude, sense of humor, do you have one?

My 4th was born the morning of the sec ship for the 03 season in time to watch the game. I got kicked out of the hospital at haf time. Too loud!! Nurse said I had to turn off game or go home....
Looked at wife and before is could speak she said... Better hurry home or you will miss second half kick off!! I love that women.
Btw the way she also planned our wedding in march so that it would never fall on a football day

My daughter was born during LSU's 2007 Championship game vs OSU.

fast forward 4 years and my wife is again pregnant and due date #2 is in late December.
Not the exact scenario as you, but I feel if LSU wins the NC this year, it is b/c of me.

Feed her some chicken stew. It worked for both of my kids plus my mother-in-law when she had my wife and her brothers. Always starts those labor pains within a few hours.

Are you fricking serious? Or do you take your fricking seriously? Maybe if we win we should all chip in to get you and your wife the honeymoon suite and champagne next April. Go with what works.

It'll be the best day of your life no matter who wins the game.

Don't worry about it.
