I'm watching him tonight.

Size,speed, and strength.

He's a tall Rb built like Run DMX with bigger calves.

Putting Crowley on his back.

I'd rather him at WR, but just get him in the fold, cause he is a stud.

Idk I think he's the only RB in this class amirite?

I think he would be unreal at RB once Moffit got a hold of him.

Yep, thats what they told him, I'm just saying we bring him in and see where he fits. We brought Claiborne in and tried him at WR first, then moved him. Bourque has been reported at 6'2-6'3, which wouldn't make him a prototypical, every-down RB. I could see LSU using him kind of like a cross between Blue(blocking with occasional run and wheel routes)and Shep(sweeps, flares, screens).

I was at the game last night and I can see where a case could be made for this. I saw him turn his body and slow way down at the end of some runs to absorb the hit, but on the other hand he did run over a few people. He is definitely the person that carries Crowley how he didn't have 45 carries I don't know, and why they decided to throw an interception so close to the redzone when he was breaking off chunks of yards in the 3rd quarter is beyond me.

On another note Crowley's short QB is a mess throwing the ball.

IMHO, this is why i think he makes a better WR. But as we all saw against Aubrun, LSU WR's are physical. I just didn't see in Bourque what I say in Hilliard, Magee, Ford, and Blue coming out of high school. You have to love contact coming in bc for sure the SEC is not a place to LEARN to love it

He'll definitely need to be ready for contact in the SEC but that's something he can learn to do or as said earlier he will not be playing rb at LSU.He is a very talented runner though.I can easily see what the coaches see in him at rb if they truly want him to play rb.Can't teach his natural running skills. Also a tidbit about the contact, going into last year Jeremy Hill was a guy that almost every recruiting "expert" said avoided contact and that was one of his biggest knocks. He corrected it pretty well as a Sr.It's something that can be corrected as long as the kid has the mindset to take on contact.

if you were at the game last night, i'm trying to figure out what you were watching. Bourque doesn't shy away from contact. last night the commentators on cox kept saying how hard bourque was running, how he was dragging defensive lineman 5 to 7 yards after contact. he ran over a few of the pioneer defensive backs.. i mean punished them, knocking them 5 yards backwards and making them flip backwards 2 and 3 times. notre dame is a very well coached team.. bourque had 28 carries for 127 yards and 1 td.. ALSO I MUST AGREE WITH THE POSTER CROWLEY'S QB IS REALLY A MESS.. HE MAKES VERY BAD READS AND DECISIONS.... THEY SHOULD'VE FED THE BALL TO BOURQUE ALL NIGHT.. WATCHING THAT QB MADE ME WANNA BREAK MY FLAT SCREEN....

Not expecting much of DB at LSU. I don't think he is a natural runner and is a tweener without a true position.

I would be interested seeing him at OLB.

i just don't get this line of thought

his main job is to get a ton of yards and not fumble. his secondary job is pass blocking and pass routes.

"finishing runs" is just such a stupid concept if he's doing all of the above well

Word is that Jeremy Hill will be part of the 2012 class. If so, that's two RBs.

Nobody has come right out and said Hill will be in this class to my knowledge but by reading the tea leaves it's being highly hinted at.Everyone has said that if his legal issues are settled then he would be in the class but lately it seems everyone is vaguely hinting that he's going to be.
