The off season work and conditioning was unreal and miles has said it was the best since he has been at lsu. The win over Oregon was definitely a spring board.
We would probably have the same record, but our superior conditioning has led to another level of dominance I believe.
I say we owe quite a bit

It was hudge for our preparation and focus early in the season. And it made us really well prepared for the no huddle that moo state n west va ran also. It was great for the season.for sure

I agree. We are head and shoulders above everyone else. I thought Wisconsin and Oklahoma might be on par with us, but we're a tier above everyone else this year and it's because we play the best. When you prep all summer for Oregon it is a lot different from prepping all summer for Northern Idaho Community College.

I think underachieving with addition to the team maturing has contributed as well. There's a confidence there that I don't think I've ever seen.

I watched the oregon game, and sorry boys, I dont give them a squirt of piss of credit. You all come out game one kicking arse. I think miles and chief had this whole thing cooked up to beat down opponents and destroy teams on the way to win another championship...
Oregon was just the first asswhipping you all doled out. thats the only credit they get.

I think it was instrumental in getting the team as focused in the off season as it was. I said before the season that even if we lost to Oregon we would be a better team than if we had not.
I do think we would still have the same record, but we might not be destroying people the way we have been.

Agree. You can tell this team worked harder in the summer getting ready for a top 5 showdown vs Oregon. Has much more impact than playing an opener vs Townson State.

It was huge. The defense is in great shape and is basically interchangeable at all positions now.
It was a great idea (whoever came up with it) the D going against two offenses in prep for the bullshite cheap arse high schoolesque Oregon no huddle.

That isn't a very nice thing to say about Boise State.

Is your name supposed to be 'drew' but in cajun or something? (Rhyming with flew, blew, or clue) Because I always read it as 'dro'. (Rhyming with Bro, Go, Show) Bothers the hell out of me.

Absolutely agree. Prepping for the Ducks got our big guys in shape to go the distance. When they lined up play after play and were ready and waiting when the Ducks came to the line, you just knew Oregon didn't have a prayer.

Yea if it's Drew it should be spelled Droux as in Roux.
