Who's the best overall Tiger?
1. Tyran Mathieu
2. Sam Montgomery
3. Ruben Randle
4. Spencer Ware
5. Michael Brockers
6. Morris Claiborne
7. Bennie Logan
8. D'Angelo Peterson (his stats are meaningless...teams still have ultra respect)
9. Jarrett Lee
1o. Odell Beckham, Jr.
What say you? Give me you rrankings and we'll average 'em up at the end.

This is almost impossible to do. What a compliment to our team. The fact that #76 isnt in anyone's top 5 is a crime.

Is Jarrett Lee really on any lists? Is this serious? Nearly every player on our defense (except a couple of LBers) and even their backups are going to the NFL, then on offense you have 6-7 future pros, yet Lee is on there when he got beat out in camp 3 years in a row? I'm not saying he hasn't played well, but you said D-Pete's stats are meaningless so if we're going by talent then this is really really a joke.

The fact that it is impossible is what makes it fun. I think Russell Shepard, a year ago, would have imagined to be #2 at least.
I like Reid and Simon. They would have been my next picks along with Ford. Ford is being hurt in my rankings bc he is simply not playing much. I do not know why. Keiland Williams all over again.

Hello, Rip Van Winkle...glad you are now awake. I have a lot to fill you in on since 2008.
His stats are not overbearing, but they are solid...as good as any SEC qb.
Lee is talented. He's not some Jamie Howard. He was a 4 star recruit out of Texas in 2006. He is, without that awful thrown to the wolves 2008, a damn solid qb and he's leading this team.
My list said nothing about talent. It's about the "best" 1-10. I suppose it's a list that is about who means the most to LSU? In that case, he might be 2-3. Give the guy credit. This is not an NFL prospect list.
As for the other guy's comment about Ware being high...how you think this team does without Ware and Lee? I think we'd be 5-1 or 4-2. Both players man that much. Ware is a stallion. He's not flashy, but he wears defenses out and Florida, minus Trent Richardson, would have picked any other RB to play against but Ware. Let's also remember he's going to throw a pass soon. I think he'll do it vs. Auburn. He's a helluva rounded back.

I've focused on Brockers intentionally this year, and Brockers is just mauling people. He's the best interior defensive lineman in the SEC, and it's not even close. He'll be a top 5 NFL draft pick.
Randle is our best receiver. Without question.
I hated to put Mathieu so low, because I think I'm doing what everyone else did when he came out of high school. However, the players ranked ahead of him are just flat out studs. Claiborne is the best PURE cover corner we've had since Corey Webster.
I think the only reason I ranked Ware so low is because of all the positions of a football team, I value running back almost the least of all positions.

If you don't have Lee near the top of your list you are wrong.

Not sure on a top 10, but Wing has to be somewhere on it.
