LSU has a very balanced offense this year with playmakers all over the field.
We can score in many different ways.

The 2 defenses are a push, but LSU's offense is a little better than Bama's.

Regardless, both teams have to play Florida first.

If LSU's 2010 offense could score 24 points, there's no reason to think that this 2011 offense couldn't put up more. Lee has looked in-control and very accurate for most of this season.

In the 2008 matchup, Lee as a redshirt freshman was able to lead the offense to 21 points despite 4 interceptions. You could argue that 'Bama's defense in 2008 was much better than 2011, and LSU's offense 2011 offense with Jarrett Lee as a 5th-year senior is far better than the 2008 offense.

It's going to be a great game. With several NFL-caliber players all over the field, expect an NFL-like score.

for starters LSU hasn't been shut out since 2002 (Ironically against Alabama, though remember who our coach was then?)

We scored 15 on them in 2009, when they had the vastly superior team, our offense was worse AND our QB and top RB got hurt and had to leave the game.
