This game we be totally different then any game thus far. We have preparing for and playing to stop the run. WVA has excellent wideouts and will spread the field with 4 and 5 wide. This secondary is largely untested, and we will have to rely on our front 4. While I like our chances, it could still be a long night if they dink and dunk all night. Geno is a very good qb. Make no mistake about that, and this is a very different team then last year. Miles says this offense compares to Arkansas and this team has just as much talent. They will run a 3-3-5 but they will still load the box and stop the run and force us to pass. On the road that will not be as easy as some of you think. They also have a terror at defense end. I just think there is more unknowns in this game then any we have faced. I think we win, but I just don't see a blowout like some predict.

They cant run the ball if they throw 40 times i like our chances. We will get pressure on their QB and he will throw 3 picks

they are exactly the same as oregon, same offensive gameplan, our defense shut down oregon so we will shut down WVA.

No blowout at all. I do believe we should win though. Listening to Mike Detellier the other day online after the MSU game; he said this was the most intriguing game of the year for LSU up until the Bama game. He said in effect that this was the game that worried him the most because of the capabilities of Geno Smith.

because lsu ranks near the top in pass defense, run defense and scoring defense of the toughest defensive conference in america. wv is going to be surprised at how much pressure lsu gets with the front 7. they are also going to be surprised at how good the coverage is in the dbackfield. the odds of lsu generating turnovers is quite good.

on the other side of the ball, lsu does just enough to keep the opposing offense off the field.

special teams, lsu does a couple of things very well.

i think the lsu run game takes over in the 4th quarter

Oregon threw ball 50+ times. Our secondary should be ok.

Just woke up. In my dream I had a predilection that LSU will be up 63-62 with 3:42 to play. LSU will have the ball.

WVU offense will look some what like Oregon's offense against AU. They have a fairly small line, not much of a running game, and will be passing a lot. Geno Smith is probably has a similar skill set as Darron Thomas, but doesn't have LaMichael James to take the pressure off (not that LMJ did much against AU or LSU). Our Dline will get pressure on Geno and our secondary will make most throws pretty tough. WVU does not run the same offense as Oregon, but Oregon has pretty much resorted to a similar pass heavy attack when they faced teams with good run defense. If we shut UO down, then we can shut WVU down.

I think we will win this game by 14 to 21 pts. They have not yet played a team as tough or as fast as our's. We are a more all around team than them.If we play to our ability we should not have any problems. I feel that M.C. will get another pick with some help this time. We have a very good backfield and our D. line will put alot of pressure on Geno Smith this game (that he has not yet to see). We will run and pass all over them.

Because our team is LSU. We are 800lb Gorillas with chainsaws for dicks. We fear no one... others tremble in our sight. I expect to skull frick every single opponent and then sex up their women afterward.

Our defense is better than last year.

Our offense is better than last year.

Our offense is somewhat better than last year.

Their defense is worse than last year.

WVA is a rehash of Oregon with a weaker defense. On top of that, as someone has already pointed out, LSU is an 800 LBS Gorilla with a chainsaw for a penis.

WV throws the ball a lot and we have the best secondary in the country (some say of all time). It pits their strength against our strength and most people think we will easily win. Plus, their defense is weak and MSU has a better defense.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see WVU bust out to an early lead. They'll be fired up and the stadium is going to be electric.

We'll most likely wear them down over the course of the game, though.

our offense is setup to help us in this game and every team that runs a spread. we will run the clock with the run game and they will have to be able run the ball to keep their defense off the field and that will play to our hand in the 4th Q. our defense will have to play very discpline in the d-back field and i'm sure we are capabale. not saying it is going to be easy but we should come out on top.
