Hennepin is my favorite. Witte was just ok. Bière de Mars was very good. I currently have their Abbey Ale, Rare Vos Amber Ale and Three Philosophers Quadrupel in my fridge, but haven’t tried them yet. These are all from Florida. It's great to see them here in LA.

I picked up some more Unibroue recently. Got a bottle of Maudite and Quelque Chose. Been trying to get through the lineup before going back to La Fin.

They make so many great beers. Maudite is always in my rotation along with La Fin. Don de Dieu and La Terrible are great too.

Went by Matherne's on Highland and bought some beer. Just to list out, They have

Ommegang
Abbey, 750ml, 4Pak 12oz
BPA, 750ml
Aphrodite, 750ml
Witte, 4Pak 12oz

Abita
25th Anniv. Doubledog, 22oz

I asked about Three Philosophers and Gnommegang. I was told there is no word on other Ommegang brews at Matherne's, but the hope was more to follow in a couple of weeks if the present inventory sells well.

Do it.

ETA: I'll be there no later than 6 to use up my last $30 groupon before the meeting, if anyone wants to drink a few before.

Anyone know if this stuff is at Whole Foods yet? They seem to be getting things pretty quick these days too and I have a 20 for 10 living social coup to use.

No problem. Had the same Living Social bucks to spend at Whole Foods, and what better way to spend it than on beer?

Speaking of, Calandros DID get Divine Reserve 11

Which their employee told me was sold exclusively to employees. He really pissed me off that day, and I haven't bought a beer from them since.
