Les can't do that as a coach. He would lose credibility and respect.

JJ was in the wrong place at the wrong time and regardless of who started the fight, JJ should have avoided it.

Miles needs to make a statement saying, "I respect Mr. Unglesby as an attorney and he is doing what he feels is in the best interest of his client. However, he is not in charge of this team and any decisions made regarding playing time and/or suspensions will be made by this coaching staff."

I hate to say it, but this where I miss Saban as coach of the Tigers. Can you imagine him letting Unglesby push him around and try to force his hand? Miles better get out in front of this sooner rather than later.

Miles doesn't need to say anything. Let the Justice system work. If charges are reduced, for whatever reason, you'll see JJ back in a couple of games.

I don't necessarily want him back. People act like we are losing Peyton Manning. JJ had 7 td's and 10 picks. Its sad that he is the best available, but it's not like he's leaving a big void at the QB position.

The frick? We want what's best for the team and pulling this shite right now is clearly not that.

This. I'm down with reinstating him after 2 games. He still has to fight back up the depth chart, though.

Les miles has no say in the decision to let jj back, none.

The lsu admin is making that call, and there is zero chance they let a student athlete facing charges on national television.

Zero chance, the sooner you jj jock sniffers come to accept reality, the more fun the season will become.

There are consequences for stupid actions. If anyone thinks there is a chance this will happen, they are delusional.

you dumb shits that worship the alter of the almighty saban are just sad. miles isn't getting pushed around by anyone BTW so I'm not sure where you're getting that shite.

also your lord and savior suspended DJ hall for the La Monroe game but decided hed learned his lesson at halftime when it looked like they might lose. saban isn't perfect; his players have discipline problems; and saban selectively enforces said discipline depending on how talented the player is and how it affects the W/L columns. just like 100% of all other top college coaches in the country.

Only a matter of time. Bienville is gonna get his arse handed to him if he keeps going after the players (mainly JJ). I know he takes some plaintiff cases but for the most part he is a below average, slimy real estate lawyer. The only reason he is their lawyer is because one of the victim's uncle knows him and the plan was to sue Shady's and the building/parking lot owner from the beginning. He is out of his league.

Literally the first thing that I thought of. They have to do it now??? 4 days from the game. shite isn't there enough bull going on.

Why do any of you think this will affect the team. The only thing the team will hear about this is what they read in the paper or on here. I guarantee that if Les reinstated JJ today he wouldn't play Saturday.

This board is acting like JJ is Cam Newton

Even if he was, Miles would be retarded to let him back

I wish JJ and his lawyer would just go away right now and stop being a distraction

If Jefferson is given the ok to come back, does the thing apply to Johns?

So you don't JJ should participate in the legal system? This is posturing. Unglesby knows exactly what he is doing.

You think the players are distracted by what they read in the news?

Unglesby needs to stay the frick away from Les and LSU and concentrate on his client. Work out a misdemeanor plea deal and THEN go to Les and ask him to lift the suspension.

JJ should participate in the legal system, not team practice
