I hope you know this is never going to happen absolutely under any circumstances.

It doesn't mean it shouldn't.

Dan is showing through his recruiting he is wanting to coach a C-USA team, anyway, accommodate him...

Gotcha. I was honestly contemplating on realistic situations. My first choice would be OU/A&M to the west and FSU/VT to the east. Realistically the most likely would probably be A&M and Clemson.

If they add teams at this point, I'd say they should go straight to 20 teams, break it into 4 divisions and have a 4 team championship playoff.

WESTERN DIVISION: Alabama, Auburn, LSU, OM, MSU
EASTERN DIVISION: UF, UGA, Tenn, Kentucky, Vandy
SOUTHWESTERN DIVISION: Arkansas, OU, TAMU, Oklahoma State, Texas (or perhaps Mizzou)
ATLANTIC DIVISION: USCe, VaTech, FSU, Clemson, Maryland (or Virgina, GaTech, etc.)

...And before anyone says the NCAA would not allow a 4 team playoff, the strength of these schools should be sufficient to ensure that the NCAA can hardly say no.
