Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the <Open> champion.
Carl Spackler
But on a serious note, I'm going with the man whose destiny is to win the Open, Serg!!!!

I'm gonna go with the defending champ, Louis O. He absolutely dominated this tournament last year and nobody seems to be talking about him.

My fantasy roster:
A-list
Lee Westwood.
Bench: Nick Whatney
B-list
Charl Schwartzel & Ian Poulter
Bench: Steve Stricker & Retief Goosen
C-list
Freddie Jacobsen
Bench: Rory Mcilroy
I took Westwood over Donald just on a gut feeling. Westwood sounded like he liked this course more.
I'm not crazy about any of my B-list picks. I think they all make the cut though and hopefully one or two will compete. Stricker is my least favorite out of the group even though he's on fire.
C-list
Live Freddie as a dark horse. Dudes game is tight right now. He putts lights out and he already has a top 5 on this course. Rory for obvious reasons.

Calcavecchia always seems to play very well in the British. He leads at -2 after 7.

Love getting up for the British The Open even though the courses look like crap, the golf is boring, and we are just as likely to get #176 in the world as winner as we are #1.
