When I received mine, one of the batteries was bad. I sent a message to the seller and they shipped me 2 more from Hong Kong no charge!
So now I have 3 good batteries for my light!

I haven't left feedback yet, gonna do this when I get home. Which seller did you use?

I wanna say cyberport888 or something like that. I'll check when I get back to a computer.

Alright, yesterday when I got the light both batteries had a charge, I put the first one on charger for about 2 hours and went play with it, it worked fine. The second battery had a charge, I put it on last night and forgot to take it off the charger this morning. I get back from work and take it off and that battery is dead. Is it just a bad battery, or will the charger kill them if you leave it too long?
THIS! That is what happened to the first bad battery. Two more were bad for me.
They are lithium batteries. Made in China, so I think it truly is hit and miss.
My guess is that about 30-40% will have some charging issues. But everyone should get at least one good battery.
As for price.......I paid $12.95 each at Battery World. Sounds like I overpaid some.....but I think it is worth it for the quality of light we will all have come hunting season!!!
Even with additional cost, I'm not disappointed in the least!!

just got my 500lm head lamp in. ebay item #320720917940. all i can say is wow! for $8.78 it is the brightest light i have!
pro-very bright
very lightweight
good spot light & flood light
con-"adjusting" the point of aim is either at your feet for walking or straight out. doesn't really stay at "in-between" levels.
i bought it on 7/11 and it was at my house today (7/22).
overall i give it a 9/10. only because of the lack of aim adjustment.
great light and thanks for the heads up on cree lights!

That's why I hadnt ordered it yet. The "in-between" is the level I want it at for giggin, walking or anything like that. Might just get one anyway and shim it

i hear ya tt, but for less than $9 it is worth it. i'll work on a shim too. it really is nice.

8 pages on flashlights with no flame war? I would have thought it impossible.

I messaged the seller about the dead battery. He said they don't sell batteries individually or something like that (the message was written in terrible Engrish) but offered me a $2 "discount." I accepted, and he just refunded my $2 via PayPal. Not so bad, I likely won't need a backup battery anyway.
I went to order 2 more, and the US seller jacked up the price $100 to $119. All the sellers out of the US have they're prices listed north of 100 bucks
Just ordered 2 from someone else out of Hong Kong, should be in in a couple weeks

I wonder if his sudden increase in sales as a result of this thread was the reason...anyways, still waiting on mine.

That's just fricking insane. I got my second one in from the Cali seller yesterday. Sounds like I bought it just in time.

I just purchased 5 of them because of this thread. I bought them from a seller from New York. I cant wait to they come in. I hope I get some good batteries.

You may want to list the seller's name in the thread. My guy just bumped the price one hundo.

The Hong Kong dealer is also selling a 1000 lumen cree xml led for $23.49...gonna order that one too
ETA: it does not include the battery, have to buy it separate

im thinking he added another 1 by accident, should be 19.98 not 119.98. this guy was awesome, refunded me 3.00 because of dead battery.
