re: Lara Logan rape ...

What gets me about our so called media is how they manipulate all stories to fit what ever left leaning crap they are supporting. Fox is the only station that will either tell the rest of the story or at least another view of it.

This same press is covering Wisconsin as if it were Egypt. Poor union workers fighting for there freedom and rights. What a crock of bull shite.

What "rest of the story" or "another view" is relevant in the Lara Logan matter and is not being told?

Wow, that was weird, it was like reading a young "Citwtt" in his developmental period, with some input from Wiki!

The fact that the gleeful, friendly, peaceful demonstrators were something other than what was presented.

The fact that the consequence of change with neither endpoint or design has equal chance of providing military or radical theocratic dictatorship to democracy.

The facts surrounding CBS putting its correspondent in the position it did.

Out of the hours of coverage I watched on various outlets, I never got the impression that all of the demonstrators were "gleeful, friendly, peaceful". There plenty of reports of troublemakers.

Okay. What does this have to do with a group of thugs attacking Logan?

Probably wasn't a good idea. The question's been raised in a couple of conversations on the air.

I don't see some MSM conspircacy to hide the truth.

There were many reports contradicitng your theme, violence was reported, there were stories about the danger toWestern reporters out there.

Has nothing to do with the sexual assault.

A story, but hardly worth the comments of previously unknown Nir Rosen, and one with two sides. Reporters are in danger when they cover revolutions, that is not news.

Only the bad bad pro-Mubarak types. Not the gleeful, friendly, peaceful, innocent, "pro-democracy" sweeties.

Nothing. Wasn't your question related to the "rest of the story"?

MSM no. CBS yes (ETA, at least perhaps).

Exactly.

I wonder why the normally vocal and obnoxious Lib-Idiot groups like NOW have nothing to say about this?

So the fact that the crowd were chanting Jew! Jew! while raping her didn't have any religious condemnation?

I read in a Thomas Friedman column that the Iraqi nickname for American soldiers is Jews.

Who should NOW be protesting? The U.S. government had nothing to do with this.

Iraqi's have a better understanding for the US- israeli relationship than Americans. They understand why they were occupied.

How do you explain Obama vetoing a resolution that states his position on settlements perfectly?

How do you explain why israel is the only bipartisan issue in US politics.

We aren't the great satan for random reasons.

So perhaps the rapists were Iraqis who mistook Logan for an American soldier? Is that what you're getting at?

None. Which culture executes the woman for being raped? It long past time to rid the world of Muslims just as we got rid of Nazis.

don't think they actually mistook a vagina for an a-hole, but they were prolly fantasizing about banging American soldiers while in the act.

Vor baby, no matter how you slice it the press was trying to make the egypt thing a win for Odummy instead of the absolute loss it turned out to be.

re: Lara Logan rape ...

No one has really clarified this. What is rape or was it assault? Big difference.

The backstory of this is that she was asked to leave the country earlier and she did under explicit threats on her and other journalists. When she snuck back in she gave an interview the day before the incident when a reporter asked her if she was scared for her safety.

Point is this was a case of known threat and the result was expected. I would never blame a victim but I will say that her actions and any other journalists who put themselves knowingly in danger were imprudent at best.

I don;t know if this is as much a dirty muslim backwards thing as it is a chaos, riots, and martial law every person for themselves situation....

No, what I'm suggesting is the term Jew has become an Arab slur to disparage Americans.

What are people trying to defend here? A woman was assaulted by protesters in Egypt. Who is trying to spin this thing and why?
