huh?
i was saying in response to you saying everybody who shoots a stray dog just shoots a random dog innocently wandering around which is complete bullshite

I see you are one of those "if it moves and is legal, kill it" people. Those people are not hunters, they are shooters.
Not at all. Never shot a dog in fact. I'm putting my self in a position where if i did continuously see a dog chasing deer on my property. But I'm sure you know me better than I know myself.

Dogs can be expensive property. SOme kid leaves the gate open and your neighbors expensive dog comes on your property, you don't have to shoot it.
Dude. You guys are wearing me out. Go read my posts. I said continuously chasing game. If I saw it one time I'd let it slide. But how many times do you let someone's "expensive property" frick up your expensive property??

A feral wild dog is no different than any other nuisance animal. A collared dog is another persons property. Big difference IMO.
There is your answer. /thread

I will only shoot the dog if it is aggressive. ruining a hunt is one thing but coming on my land and growling and showing me your teeth is the sign of an aggressive dog, doing it while i have my gun is a aggressive dog having a bad day. I refuse to get bit on my property because you allowed your "mean" dog to wander. I don't give a shite if it has a collar or not at that point. That being said i cant shoot a dog that is just playing and obviously having a "doggy good time". If it is a harmless dog i will try to catch it, if it has a collar I will call the number, if not i will drop it off at the pound.

That is my opinion as well. I could do all kinds of stuff this board doesn't agree with but in the end it is between me and my maker.
Is killing over the limit a sin?

Funny you are paraphrasing my extenuating circumstances listed earlier.
Since you seem to have difficulty debating on topic please go back and read my posts where I clears said I will and have contacted dog owners in about thier lose animals. Note that I will do this twice before solving the problem unless their are extenuating circumstances as listed before.

all you dog killers need to stay out of Anna's bottom...

I haven't shot any dogs while deer hunting, but I damn sure have wanted to.

Anna's bottom is actually the first one I ever entered... I could actually see dogs being there these days

Baton Rouge Pound feeds and bathes them then gives them 6 days for someone to adopt them, that is a whole lot more of a chance then my .300 would give them. Also, there are a few "shelters" around BR that has a policy of not putting the dogs down, that being said they probably just take the ones that linger to long to the BR Pound.
FFT: you only have a 8% chance of living past 90, should you be shot right after cake?
