This movie is what made me stop trusting movie reviews altogether. I had planned on seeing it with my gf, but decided against it after reading several reviews that trashed it. I watched it several years later on TV and could not believe how off base the reviews were. Funny as hell and extremely quotable.

The appeal of a movie is wholly subjective. That said, as funny as I personally found Joe Dirt to be, it's not difficult to accept it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
