That is not entirely incorrect.

That would certainly put LSU in a pinch if Miles jumped ship at the end of December.

Exactly. That's what happened when Saban left, and at that time, all of the major HC candidates were already signed by other teams, or had cut better deals to stay where they were. Won't bother me one way or the other if Miles leaves, but be a man and leave now if you're going.

Buddy told Cauble to say that to help his ratings from now until Christmas.

Miles is not leaving LSU, I would be shocked if he does. He will retire at LSU unless he becomes a Cholly Mac or Lloyd Carr, the problem is that he will continue to compete and win games against Bama and Florida and that will be enough to keep his job.

Does anyone want to post what Les said that would give any life to this?

Leach would be a massive step down at this point. You are the same guys that said Les couldn't beat Saban ever again.

Jason Garrett would be my top Choice for LSU HC.

Second would be Kevin Sumlin.

wrong. he doesn't draft the o lineman. that is the only thing holding back the dallas offense. Jerry won't draft good o lineman.

garrett is one of the smartest and most organized guys in all of football. He's extremely well respected across all coaching circles. He would be a great hire but I think he's an purely NFL guy now.

I really find it very odd some of you think this.. Leach would have won the SEC this year at LSU. His offense would have put up more points than Auburn could keep up with.

Les's reaction to the loss and his recent behavior
that's pretty fricking thin for him to float a rumor this big.

Very true. There must be something to it for him to actually say this.
