This will, no doubt, be a minority viewpoint, but I like the upper deck seats better than the endzone seats inside the bowl. I'd hate to give them up in exchange for student's endzone seats.

So when exactly did "KICK THEIR arse" In place of L . S . U . on first down start?

I started school at LSU in 96 and it was done then. I know people that went to LSU in the 80s that said "Kick Their arse"

Of course they didnt have Neck back then and they didnt have most of down cheers either.

You had Chinese Bandits and First down cheer and that was pretty much it.

Tigerrag had gone on for a good while too. It wasn't started in the last 10 years or anythin, no way the previous generation cursed at football games

Yea Tiger Rag was being altered long before I went to LSU too.

I dont see anything different today really.

Im serious though what generation brought us the Kick their arse chant?? That seems to have been around for a long long time.

I remember in the 80's when I was a student, there was controversy when the national tv cameras showed the student section as the broadcast began at an LSU-ole Miss game and you could clearly hear over the broadcast, "geaux to hell Ole Miss, geaux to hell, eat sh*t". Pretty much everyone associated with the university, athletic and Administrative wise, issued pleas to stop the vulgarity. I don't ever recall the "F" word being thrown around or the graphic chants that are common now at every game.
