If we would've taken care of business on Saturday then maybe we wouldn't have to worry about this. I think they would've given us one of those late afternoon special games if we're undefeated

Joe Alleva needs to call Ms LeslieAnne Wade at (212) 975-5171 and tell her and the Communist Broadcasting System to go pound sand. She's the CBS Sports network Sr VP for CBS Sports.

But he won't. (inject the sound of a cat meowing)

And why does he need to do that?? Enough with all you on here and your entitlement to night games. Stop bitching and just be glad you are on TV. Every week CBS picks up an LSU game for 2:30 it's the same thing.

for a damn good reason. All big 12, big 10 and ACC teams get ABC and have night spots EVERY WEEK. Unfortunately money talks and not giving our team an edge

I'll cut you slack since Nebraska is happy to have a winning team. Besides, Nebraska schedules games based on whenever the players finish shucking the corn and the cheerleaders have through milking the cows.

Awesome the news just keeps getting better, coming off an awful fb weekend! I would rather have my eyes scraped out than listen to CBS's version of OHHH Baby, there he goes...touchdown Ingram! or Danielson's slobber sounds as he discusses Saban's preparation skills. Dear lord, I am considering Hawthorne as background NOISE for this one.

Wow, how original of a comment that is. I don't believe I've ever heard that one before. How long did it take you to come up with that one you dolt.

Day games also suck for small local businesses and ultimately the school too. You lose 5 hours of business time leading up to the game. Just another perspective.

lets have some tropical activity develop really quick and come right for the gulf coast region of louisiana and have them postpone this game for a later date.

Surely that's no surprise to anyone. Zero competition on that date.

Don't take it personally. I like the Huskers. Especially after Bo P. left LSU to go be the HC. Big Red is kicking arse this year. I think Mizzou is gonna get spanked this Sat. Bottom line, LSU folks L-O-V-E night games for a variety of reasons. It's the culture. I know TV revenue trumps what the school wants. The fact Satan wants a day game is also telling. He knows bad shite happens to visitors in Death Valley at night.

Husker Fan,

I know I will get grilled for saying this, but I rather my team not be on TV if it means they will have an extra edge in one of the toughest games of the year. I am an alumni and a fan and I want my team to win, no matter what it takes

I hope you are right and we spank Mizzou this weekend. Really worried about this one. We haven't been playing well at home. Really wish the game was being played at Mizzou.
