I know I will get grilled for saying this, but I rather my team not be on TV if it means they will have an extra edge in one of the toughest games of the year. I am an alumni and a fan and I want my team to win, no matter what it takes

It's a vast leftrightcenter conspiracy between Satan's Bama and CBS. Betcha. lol

a short tailgating day is never good. Day games in tiger stadium only make it worse.

Enough with all you on here and your entitlement to night games. Stop bitching and just be glad you are on TV. Every week CBS picks up an LSU game for 2:30 it's the same thing.

Truth. End thread.

the reason why LSU's day game record is worse than night is because LSU is playing better teams at the time during the 2:30 slot

Bama buddy says kick-off is at 7:00PM. ESPN says 7PM too.

Only way lsu wins is if Bama shows up to play at 7pm IMO.

Last 5 Alabama home games, the result, and game time:

2008 L 2:30
2006 W 6:45
2004 W 6:45
2002 L 8:00
2000 W 2:30

So to answer your question, 2000 was the year. Not sure how many moons though...

Lighten up. It will be ok. Sell your tickets to someone who might enjoy the opportunity to go.

. It was hard to understand them with Cam's manhood in their mouth the whole game.

yeah, you'd think he ran for 200 yards, broke the SEC season record for rushing yards by a QB with 4 games left and was the Heisman front runner or something

Alabama at LSU (2:30 p.m. CT) (CBS Sports)
Arkansas at South Carolina (6 p.m. CT) (ESPN)

Per the contract with the SEC, CBS gets first pick and I guess they are very proud of their regular network programming on Saturday nights. Most of the time, the only way to get a night game in the SEC is to be the game that CBS does not pick - meaning ESPN will pick it up. (see USCe vs Arky on the 6th)

On the positive side... Daylight Savings will be over by then.

It doesn't end until a few hours after the LSU/Bama game.
