Worried about Predictability

I could be wrong but I believe LSU ran the ball on first down 9 out of 10 times in the second half, the only time it passed was on the first down after the fake field goal. Most of those runs netted less than three yards putting us second and long and then third and long. To me this is part of the reason our offense has difficulty moving the ball consistently.

Well with all the bitching everybody did about our offense the last couple of weeks, I can't believe nobody else sees this as a problem.

I know i was screaming that you cant win when you play to not lose. Well..we played not to lose in the second half, but we somehow still won.
I hope we get more aggressive with a lead in the future. you just cant sit on a lead against the big boys and expect to win all the time.

Predictability is a good thing. Because once the other team assumes it can predict what you're going to do, you have the ability, in the right situation, to catch them unprepared for what you really do.

When was the last time we didn't complain about this? Same criticism was leveled when Jimbo Fisher was the OC. When was the last time that LSU's 1st down play calling wasn't considered predictable?

True but we went up two scores only to give up a kickoff return for a TD. It's a non factor when special teams hold up. Run it get ahead by 2 scores and get out with the win

My observations of our offenses predictability.
It's pretty predictable that JJ will get the first two series and Lee will get every other series after that until Lee gets the ball with in the ten yard line then Jefferson will come in.
Lee will not run. Jefferson will more than likely run. Jefferson will throw at least one interception per game.
If Blue is in the game with Jefferson, it is likely an option.
We run on 1st down 100% of the time.
We run on 2nd down about 75% of the time.
We run on 3rd down about 12% of the time.
Shep will run the jet sweep once, maybe, maybe, maybe twice, but after that the defense doesn't have to worry about it anymore.
The TE is open a lot.
If it's third and 20+, we will probably run a draw.
Anything I missed?
