Some of y'all need to get the Greek dick out your arse.

I'm not saying ALL the profanity problems come from Frats but a good portion of them do. Frats aren't these young classy gentlemen. They're just as vulgar an gross as most non Greeks are. Fact.

Next game we'll just have to test the Greek theory out. They'll all be gone by half time so that'll give us a good chnace to hear what's being said and what's not being said.

"Before long, there'll be students up in this thread complaining that we're all "OLD" and won't let them have their fun, and we're uptight, and the university is repressive, etc. etc. etc."

Until recently, the students have always had fun without all the over the top profanity added to the traditional songs. Nothing wrong with "Kick their arse" but "Suck a Tiger Dick, Bitch" is over the top.

"Why the huge need to change every cheer or song to begin with? And Tiger Stadium continues to slip away."

Many of the recent spoiled brat LSU students seem to have a wretched excess sense of entitlement to do what ever the F they want at football games. F historical/traditional LSU songs. They're gonna add the profanity to em even it means the songs are banned. F anybody and everybody that doesn't like it too. They think it makes them look cool. Kind of like spitting in the face of big brother and their parents.

Want to solve the problem? Move the student section to the West Upper Deck. Let the little asswipes yell profanity to their hearts content up there in the stratosphere where the sound will just drift off and upwards into the heavens. Mightly cold up there in Late October/November too..........

What would you suggest? I don't think it can be done. Sad thing is, that we all will pay for the stupidity of a few.

If you want to make a rule against screaming profanities, send marshalls into the student section and start randomly throwing out students screaming profanities. I would think if we throw enough out, it will eventually stop -- or we'll end the game with an empty student section. But, I wouldn't imagine it would go on many more games if that happened.

I can see the student section tickets dwindling.

i got news for you. there are some long-standing diehard Tiger fans in those upper decks who cheer very loudly. Some have been pushed up by the white linens types buying the high priced lower bowl tickets.

and those upper level diehards would not defecate on every Tiger band song, either.

I don't doubt you, I've sat up there on more than one occasion. But it is nowhere NEAR what kind of noise the student section brings to that stadium. Break up the student section, and Tiger Stadium loses half of it's crowd noise and luster.

It's pretty pathetic in the student section anyways. I still think LSU should sell at least 3,000 extra tickets for students and the first 12,000 or whatever that get there, get in. I'm all about cutting the student section by a few 1,000 seats too.

fwiw, I still have yet to hear "sucking that Tiger D" in the student section. I sit far away from the Greeks though, that may explain it.

The people blaming the frats are hilarious. I sat near them against WVU and heard it a little, but sat nowhere near them this weekend and there wasn't a single person around me not singing the vulgar version of "Neck."

It may start there - maybe - but placing the blame on them entirely is just lazy scapegoating. And this is coming from someone who tends to hate frat boys.

Why don't they just remove the band while they're at it.... I dont think they really have a choice. You don't want that stuff to be heard on national tv

Like it matters what they play at this point. The SS is going to substitute dirty words for whatever song they play so they either have to do away with the band or just accept the dirty words.

Yeah, I was in a fraternity when I was an undergrad. But your senseless criticism and unfounded beliefs make you look like a fricking moron. Stop being bitter. Did TKE cut you?

eventually, the numbers are going to catch up with lsu. I've said it many times, the latest with the "booing" fiasco.

You can't make a shitload of people, especially young people, DO something. It doesn't matter what's played. A lot of those kids see TS as an excuse to act juvenile, which...hard to blame them for that. We all use it as an excuse to get worked up as well.

Fwiw, Neck is a horrible song and always has been. the band stole that awhile back when it was catching on at some of the swac schools, and there you have it. If you don't know what innuendos are in neck, I can't help you.

You can blame it on the students if you so desire, but you'll lose that argument. Lots of juveniles besides the student section on full display in TS.

Also.....you start taking student section tickets out, TS becomes a VERY quiet place.
