Eh. The cheer starters are the group of people who always sit in the front of the student section. I do not think they are in frats.

Some are and some aren't. They usually start cheers such as "Geaux Tigers" and "Patrick Peterson" but they're NOT adding "and beat the shite out of them" or "suck that tiger dick" to chants.

When are they going to stop doing the geaux tigers kick their arse chant? Cus the whole student section plus a lot of non students chang that. If they take out tiger rag for saying a-hole they should take out the kick their arse chant.
And no it's not the fraternity section. It's so funny how people live to blame the Greeks for everything. I thought they left the game early and always had empty seats? If that's true then it can't possibly be them. A lot if yall were students at some point to and I'm sure some of you are also the ones yelling out frick you Les miles around a bunch of children. Don't blame the students, blame the fanbase as a whole.

Considering 8-12% of the student body at LSU is in a Greek organization, I would say get rid of the dorm rats seats. If the Greek organizations are the sole ones using this cheer (which could be the dumbest statement I have ever read), then I say good for them and shame on the other 90% of the student section for not being able to muster up any noise. This isn't the library dorm rats, its a football game.

i got news for you. there are some long-standing diehard Tiger fans in those upper decks who cheer very loudly. Some have been pushed up by the white linens types buying the high priced lower bowl tickets.
and those upper level diehards would not defecate on every Tiger band song, either.
