I don't think I'd ever boo the Tigers. But, the staff and administration have gotten kinda whiny, and they aren't seeing the big picture.

LSU fans love LSU players. They are not content to simply sit there and watch a talented team underperform just because our offensive coaching staff can't get it together. And all this "we're 4-0 and #10" talk, makes it seem as if the fans have a higher demand for excellence than the coaches.

I don't like the booing either, but instead of whining about it, the staff should get pissed off and fix the problem. Instead, they are essentially telling their customers to quit giving them negative reviews.

LSU fans are known as being some of the most knowledgeable and vocal in the country. It is not fair for the staff and administration to enjoy all of that support, yet tell the fans to "shut up" when they are demanding a better job by the coaches.

With all that said, I hope there is no booing in Tiger Stadium tomorrow.

Dear Tiger Fans, Tiger Stadium is known as one of the most intimidating arenas for OPPOSING teams in the sporting world, a reputation that has been well-earned because of the passion of our fans. Now thanks to a vocal minority of inebriated assholes, Tiger Stadium is quickly earning a reputation for being the most intimidating arena to be the HOME team in the sporting world.

Those waves are embarrassment. It will do nothing to change the relationship between the AD and the HC.

This. The administration finally understands that we are unhappy with the product on the field and the direction of the program. The more tehy respond, the more we will realize that we have finally gotten their attention.

Falling attendance is a far better way for boobirds to send their message. Just don't go.

Would you go to a restaurant with shitty food every week just to yell at the wait staff and remind them how shitty their food is?

And I'm sure Alleva would prefer the boobirds not come at all. Sell your tickets to someone who actually wants to be in the stadium to support the team. And if the product on the field sucks so bad that you can't sell your tickets, then the empty seats will send a loud enough message to the administration. I've seen Tiger Stadium half empty and I can assure you it sends a very loud message to people who make hiring and firing decision regarding head coaches.

I guess when attendance falls, he will put out a letter telling fans they need to attend, and when you buy a $200 plus ticket to see great athletes, kids with a possible NFL future if they were playing somewhere else, flop around and sqander their talent impart due to their leadership, you should have no emotion or opinion. This is a capitalist society (at least for now), and as bad as I hate it, college football is big business. $3 million salary is not middle class income, most who graduate college don't even come close. You are paid to produce, fans are your customers, no customers, no business, and then football would be like many other sports, not self sustaining and a burden on the schools budget. I do admit, it's a little early to pass judgement, esecially having such a successful body of work. But calling out a fan base is no different than the fans calling out the coaches. I understand the detriments of booing, and the detriments having top talent sitting idle, either way, how long does one think LSU will have top recruiting classes. Both parties need to help each other and stop pointing fingers. Booing is an effect, not a cause, I believe these are preemptive boos, and the cause is forseen. For 2+ seasons we have been in this spot, ranked highly and undefeated early winning ugly, then losing ugly. Fans see it coming, you can't blame them, when the boos stop, you better worry, after boos come empty seats. Settle it on the field please.

JLee disagrees as well. See 2008. If you can't enjoy the game, then don't go. My perspective allows me to enjoy myself and make the money I spent worthwhile. It must suck to spend so much on seats and be miserable the whole time. Not to mention it is classless to boo.

In all honesty booing in TS is a bit sad, but it obviously made a point... it's up to each person to determine what that point is and that will be based on their own perspective.

And who cares what Joe Alleva wants? I don't? The guy let the Duke lacrosse debacle happen right under his nose and took the first train out of town. What's he done here except write letters to the fans? The reason I do not want to see Miles replaced is that Alleva and the idiots that gave him the seven year contract would probably be the ones to hire the next guy.

I'm sure that would work out great.

Just play Lee for a few series Les and get it over with. That will defuse all this foolishness one way or another. There's stubborn and then there's just stupid.

What I'd like to know is where was the commotion when Lee was booed time after time. To Aleva.

Well when they play like shite and can't move the ball 10 yards, we have every right to boo. Yeah I know they are probably trying their best but that doesn't always cut it. You have to excel in order to get cheered. And you have to play like shite to get jeered. Besides, we pay the money to go watch them play, they better play good unless you wanna waste $45.

I know right, I mean what decent AD doesn't attend every frat party to make sure the 'student' athletes don't get accused by a lying ho of something they didn't do.

What makes it worse is he didn't stop a 'politician' from having a 'political' agenda.

Wishful thinking. A lot of these people don't care how successful Miles is; we literally could win every game this year, including the NT, with good D and ST play and LSU fans will be denouncing the NT because it wasn't pretty.

You know it, I know it, LM knows it so why should he give a purple and gold rat's hind part what any of us thinks.

If you don't like it don't go.

You are not a 'stock holder' you are not an 'insider' and you are not an 'expert'.

You (and by that I mean you, me and 99% of the so called LSU Fans that have decided what's best for the team) don't have a clue what's going on inside the team so why not just shut it?

Dear Coach Miles:

Playing JL is a win-win situation for you. Playing JJ is a win-lose situation.

Insert JL and you immediately stop the boo-birds. If he plays well, you've got a true QB. If he plays poorly, it still shuts up the boo-birds.

If JJ plays well (which hasn't really happened yet this year), it shuts up the boo-birds. If he doesn't, well...

+1,000,000,000

Sure as hell dont remember Miles talking about it during press conferences or any letters being written to tell fans to stop the booing then. And there was a helluva lot more booing during those times than there was last week. Great Point.
