Peterson is every bit the athlete Deion Sanders was. In fact PP is tougher and bigger and probably has better hands.

This move is a no brainer. he is the most electrifyign athlete in college right now with teh ball in his hands.

It may be an idea to line him up in the backfield once or twice just to give something else for other teams we play to prepare for? A little "psy ops", if you will.

Every time this guy touches the ball, he makes everyone else on the field look like a joke.

Meh,

it would be awesome, but how in the hell is a guy with a history of cramps gonna play every down of defense, run 100 yards on defense, and then come in on offense too?

Here's your best defensive player, a shut-down cornerback who effectively neutralizes the other team's best receiver, which is a HUGE asset to your defense. And now we want him to play offense, defense AND special teams? Or take him off special teams, where he's lightning in a bottle, and run him off tackle?

This is FAIL to the nth degree. Go ahead and get him hurt before your most difficult stretch of critical games. Yup. And our "fanbase" LIKES this. Scary.

Not really. I could see him taking some snaps in 4-wide, maybe 4-5 a game. The point being made is the current guys aren't making dynamic plays if/when they catch the ball. I must be in the minority that doesn't believe the WR's are actually coached to shut off routes shy of 1st down yardage marks, there is plenty of improvement that could come from the WR's, period.

Mo and TM are easily better corners than LSU has put on the field the last 3-years with the obvious exception of PP.

sad but true...

got an extra miles thesaurus?

of course we really dont need anymore offensive weapons...we cant even utilize the ones we got now...not enough balls to go around cause we cant run enough plays cause JJ has nothing but 3 and outs...

First off, despite the infamous wives tales and media speculation cramps have nothing to do with hydration...........I've take 4 medical physiologies.........its straight up muscle fatigue. So either PP needs to learn how to control his adrenaline or he just has to get in better shape.

So why is he having to get IV's during the game? Isn't that usually because of dehydration? Just curious. I really don't know more than I've heard announced.

I think having PP7 on offense would be a huge help but how much work are you going to give the kid before he collapses? He'll be playing on all 3 phases of football. Besides we would only be able to use him on certain things and it would become predictable to the opponents' defenses and would be stopped.

I don't think he should play as a WR... Just in the backfield... we have enough WR's and besides we couldn't get him the ball..

I was thinking this as well. It could very well be a smoke screen. Something extra to give DC's to worry about and have to account for. IMO, just having him on the field on O would give DCs ulcers.

I think this is a good idea. Put him in at wr. Have him run deep on a third down and long situation. Then throw it up for grabs. He's already proven he can out-compete anyone for the ball and if it is intercepted he'll make the tackle right there....good as a punt.
Once or twice a game isn't going to hurt him.

Teams will avoid kicking to him. Besides, he's a lot more reliable with catchable passes than Toliver and Shepard. Shepard is a sophomore who is still learning but Toliver is not aggressive at all in attacking the ball. He's waiting on the pass to get to him rather than coming back to it. Randle, on the other hand, is catching everything that is catchable, attacking the pass and consequently finding room to run for extra yards. I like the idea of getting Peterson involved some on offense since he will not be doing much in the return game going forward aside from the opening kickoff.

I am a Miles supporter...but this type of quote is becoming nails on a chalk board for me, you are the head coach, it is not landing on an asteroid. It is as simple as saying, hey number 7, go out there and do this........

This!! Only Randle is doing this at the wide receiver position right now.

Why would they want to do this? I've got an idea...how about putting people in who are used to being on that side of the ball. Hmmm...I don't know...maybe Ford, Lee...etc. Or how about this? Let's get the ball to our stellar receiving corps and let them do their jobs!

PP is awesome but he provides the defensive and special teams spark we need from that end.
