That's pretty good. I have a problem getting discouraged when I get to a stopping point, but post like this make me realize I just need to stick with it.

stopping point = plateau (some call it a nonplateau)
not really a stopping point (destination) but a break your body takes from the process of losing, either because it wants to or diet changes. (If you choose to mention sodium-based fluid retention you risk a zinger from LE) the focus is always on patience because you didn't get that way overnight and you won't lose it overnight.

too much birthday cake. Couldn't tell my daughter no.

Had my first gain 255/240/225. Went fishing and to much beer and non healthy eats. I'm looking to try out a 5k sometime around mid May. So far I can run just a mile nonstop, so I have a lot more training to get in. Any recommendations for a 5k around the Baton Rouge area around that time. TIA

I had a fever yesterday and was feeling weak so I ate 2 extra chicken thighs.
Scale punished me. I am now 3 pounds heavier than last Wednesday.
Still not feeling great.

Don't think you gained 100 pounds Hulk. That would be a record!
Feeling a bit better today. I will be Cadfasting from now until the weigh-in tomorrow in hopes of at least getting back to my weight from last week.
9 days to go!

Just coming off a fast. All time new low and feeling good. Its taken about 2 wks to get back to normal after the week long vacation. I think I may reset my goal to 180 or 175ish

Thanks
I'm pretty sure my ultimate weight will be lower than 250, probably 220-230. My original goal has been 250 since I was so big... I could never imagine myself being anything less than that. Had a "dont want to lose TOO much" mindset. That mindset has changed. Ultimately I want to be in good shape and in good health. If I live a healthy lifestyle, the weight will come off on its own and eventually I'll be at a healthy weight. It'll be slow-going though since I'm working out and all, and allowing 1 cheat a week.

hello guys
haven't been here in awhile..sounds like everyone is doing great.
who wants to guess my weigh-in today?
195 :\
i was as low as 191 after a very hard bike ride on sunday and i sweated out a metric ton of fluid but i followed that with a ton of sodium and water so i'm plenty bloated today. looking to settle in the mid 190s this week hopefully after my body returns to normal.
never trained this hard in my life..i have a coach and his workouts are *TOUGH*. i hope to do well in the race in 2 weeks but the guy who won it last year is doing it again and he is a beast. the good news is he weighs more than me..but its MUSCLE. dude is built like a sherman tank.
