Why did he only juice for two days? I'm not doing a juice fast, I just have a couple of juices per .
Also big congrats to your progress! I see you are only a couple pds away from your original goal. Do you plan on setting a new goal and dropping additional weight? Do you weight train?

What's a good daily caloric intake to lose 20 pounds in 2 months? I will be running/cardio 5 days per week.

Look online for a BMR (basal metabolic rate) calculator. That wi tell you your daily needs. Subtract 500 cals per day to lose 1 lb per week. 20 in 2 months may be tough to do.

Last year I got below 165 and promptly slammed 40 back on.
This year I plan to stick around 175. No weight training. I do plan at some point to get back to some cardio on the bike.
I'm real good at losing weight just stink at moderating once I hit the goal.

Why no weight training? That would definitely help keep it off and keep you motivated.
Breville is supposed to be a really good brand. I actually got my juicer from Goodwill for 15 bucks. It's an expensive GE model but works great. A word of caution though.... It is very addictive! I find myself craving it and it can be expensive. My wife gets on to me and I find myself buying vegetables when she is not home and hiding them behind stuff in the fridge. I

Ive done the gym thing about a million times and always burned out.
Skipped the gym this time and did mostly diet and that has kept me from burning out.

Im sure it is addicting, fresh made juice is hard to beat. I just talked to my mom. She has a jack lalane juicer she doesn't use much. I think I'll just borrow hers for a while and try it out. What's your go to juice recipe?

Really? I could have sworn a calorie deficit creates weight loss. I also thought a calorie deficit could be achieved through both diet and exercise...... What do I know though???

Doing both leads to burn out faster.
Just check this thread. Most of the people arguing about weight training, disappear pretty fast.
Simple fact, if the scale doesn't move, people get angry and frustrated and they quit.
Simply fact, weight training while making you healthier, adds weight thus it adds frustration.
NOBODY has argued it doesn't make you healthier but it doesn't help one bit with weight loss unless you can maintain a fairly extreme regimen long term which most people simply can't.
I dropped 100 pounds in 9 months without doing ANY exercise. That was far easier than doing both which I had been doing for almost 30 years with no long term success.

As I said, to each his own, but most people simply can't keep it up for long and massive weight can be lost on diet alone.
