That might have been the dumbest article I have ever read regarding LSU football in my entire life.

Miles may have done his best
coaching job in 2007. It was the
year after LSU had a record four
players picked in the first round
(quarterback JaMarcus Russell,
defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey,
and receivers Dwayne Bowe and
Buster Davis).

Researching is Ed Daniels' problem, not spewing crap.

Seriously, that's terrible.

I guess we can see why he writes for the Clarion Herald. My Grandmother used to read it religiously.

That's the thing I remember about the article too.

Miles has had a bad run recruiting QBs and OLs, no doubt, but everything else has been pretty good in recruiting.

Besides the inaccuracies, it's really hard to read and comprehend that article. It jumps too much.

I give Miles a B in recruiting. His classes are worth an A, if you look at star power. If you look at need, its not quite as good. Still a good overall recruiter.

Wow. He brought up a terrible point and didn't give much support at all. Even if he would have been right, that article would have sucked. And where did LaRon go?

Mistakes in recruiting are part of the game, everyone makes them. One telling thing about most of the guys Miles recruited is that a whole bunch of other coaches wanted those same guys!Everybody in the country wanted PP, but it was Miles who snagged him. Everyone in the country wanted RS, but it was Miles who snagged him.

It's far from an exact science. Yeah RP turned out to be a big mistake, but Mack Brown signed him first and was PISSED to lose him. Yeah Jarvis Jones got booted off the team but OK snapped him right up!

That was a really bad article.

Miles is a decent QB away from never having lost more than 2 games in a year.

Daniels is a fool.

Deep down you have to feel sorry for him. He has to cover Moo State and Old Myth.
