Me either. Initially they were saying mid-August and they pushed it back to mid-September and then mid-fall "just in time for LSU tailgating". I hope this stuff is good. I would really love to be able to support a local brewery.

I know they got all of thier stuff in back in late July. They should start selling in the next few weeks.

I believe Juban's held a beer dinner a while back that was supposed to feature a beer or two of theirs, but I couldn't go. And I'm not sure if they were on the final list or not.

Got an email from them earlier this week maybe and all they said was that things were "almost ready"......Can't say for sure, but I believe I've heard that before. Seems like this weekend would be a prime time to hold a debut, right?

I know they had some construction and permitting issues, but I think they are finally about to be up and running.

I went looking for them the other day, the address off Nicholson looks to be a deserted warehouse. Not sure what the story is, unless I was looking at the wrong building.

doesnt matter if Parish is better or not...more local brewing co. the better. Less bud light in the world.

Amen. I'll support them because they're local. Same reason I support Abita, NOLA, Heiner Brau, etc.

I spoke with one of the Tin Roof guys last week and he said that they were about to be brewing the stuff so hopefully the release date was not far off. They had a lot of trouble with construction and such.

The Parish beers are great (IMO). I went for a tour of the brewery and Andrew is a really nice guy. he makes so little of the beer that it is only available in the LAffy area at a couple of places. good stuff though.

I will seek it out and try it next time I am in Lafayette.

Do it. He's trying to get some bigger brewing equipment right now to keep up with demand. He can't even keep the Lafayette bars in stock currently.

If they havent even brewed the stuff yet then you are looking at November before they have anything out.

I definitely will. I absolutely love fresh, micro-brewed beers. When I travel and I have time for relaxing, I always seek it out. Pubcrawler is a great site for info on brewpubs and beer bars around the country. I am from Lafayette and still have family there, so I get back there fairly often.

This conversation makes me think of Upstream Brewing Company in Omaha. Have you been there?

Hmm I was thinking it was made in St Bernard not Lafayette . but I guess it would have been named Da Parish instead.

Technically his brewery is in Broussard so it is slightly outside of Laffy.
